Tony Tiedemann Named Person of the Year by Project We Remember Chandler's Tony Tiedemann was named "Person of the Year" by Project We Remember on Saturday, October 23 at the organization's 1st Annual Remember the Night event at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale. Mr. Tiedemann, whose philanthropic efforts have supported Project We Remember for three years, shared the honor with Keller-Williams Realtors, PWR's Corporation of the Year. Tiedemann, 41, president and founder of Tiedemann Globe, Inc., founded Loved Ones Lost in 2006. Loved Ones Lost, a Phoenix-based non-profit organization, helps families of soldiers who have died in combat (and homeless and hospitalized service members). In 2009, Loved Ones Lost gave over $30000 to Veterans' organizations. "Tony is a man with a great heart," said Vernon Bagley, founder and president of Project We Remember, a Scottsdale-based organization dedicated to helping those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. Nearly 200 patriotic guests attended the event for cocktails and dinner at the organizations primary fund raiser, which brought together the community with the men and women who serve them. When he started Loved Ones Lost Tiedemann said the only way he could think to help those in need was to use his expertise in the used clothing business to raise money for non profit organization.
