This is my second Case Logic case from Amazon. It works as well as the first. I use them to hold my 300 gig USB drives and cables that I back up critical files on a monthly rotation. I rotate the drives to and from my safety deposit box. If the house burns, my essential data is recoverable.
The drives don't fit in real tight but they're held secure enough. I don't expose the drives to rough treatment and they're fairly durable in their own right.
The elastic strap is very sturdy and holds in drive in place. The additional mesh pouch is just the perfect size to hold the power cord. It's a little bit tight when I want to zip the pouch closed, but I prefer having it be a little tight than too loose where the drive and cord may go bumping around. So all in all, I'm very satisfied with this case. I recommend it to anyone that uses one of these types of portable hard drives. I had my western digital 160gb external hard drive for awhile and hesitated to purchase a case. Since I've been traveling a lot with it and felt that it's more susceptible to damage if I were to just leave it in my bag. Lint, dirt, and other debris might get lodged into the slots. Also I was afraid of bumping into something and damaging the drive since it holds so much valuable info. I've been using the case for about a month now and I have no complaints.

I bought this case because it was "advertised" along with the external hard drive I bought (Verbatim Insight 500 GB 2 USB), but alas, the hard drive is too big for the case. It's a really nice case--for a smaller hard drive.
I purchased this case the same time I bought a Seagate Expansion 640G and 750G drive. The case is well built but is very tight for the 650G drive and will not fit the 750G drive. Since, the Seagate Expansion is parallelogram shaped, you will need to find a 0.5" longer case for the 750g and 0.25" longer for the 640G drive.
I bought it for my Toshiba 500 GB Portable External Hard Drive. It fits just fine, very roomy. It would probably take another ext hard drive that is about 0.5 inch longer and wider and it wont be too tight. Sturdy external material but still looks nice. Interior also good. The elastic interior band keeps the content secure inside the case. Overall, a very good buy. Worth every penny.
This case securely protects the external hard drive when carrying it, and has no snags or protuberances that catch on luggage or inside one's backpack.
This case perfectly fits the Seagate Go drive. I can keep the drive on one side and the cable and other flash drives or cables on the other. You could even fit 2 drives, but probably couldn't fit the cables in as well. The only flaw? I wish it was even more rigid, but considering the price, it's a very good deal. Also, FYI-this is at least 25% off the prices at OfficeMax, OfficeDepot, and WalMart.
A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Ubud, Indonesia by TravelPod blogger Maitribe titled "Visual Ubud" Maitribe's travel blog entry: "After overstaying our time in Kuta, we drove to Ubud, about 1 hour north, in a mini shuttle bus. When we were picked up at our hotel, there was already a young couple in the van. Then we stopped at another hotel and picked up a young man. At this point, the vehicle was quite full with people and luggage. But, we stopped yet again to pick up two young ladies with their large pack sacks AND their pink, inflated raft. No, they didn't want to deflate it because it took a long time for them to fill it with air in the first place; so after several attempts from the driver to position it in the vehicle, Maurice took the upper hand and shoved it against the window, beside the two owners. We silently thought to ourselves, "but there's no beach in Ubud!" We were all quite relieved when they debarqued at the next beach along the way. The rest of the trip was quite uneventful. Arriving in Ubud, we missed our stop, as we got out too early. We decided to stop at a small restaurant to have lunch and a couple of cold Bali Hai's, plus to make a plan. We had again prebooked our accomodations. The serveuse was very friendly and helpful and the food was great-gado gado, fish salad for Maija and Cap Cay (curried vegies with steamed rice), for Maurice. We arranged for a private taxi to take us to our hotel. Whenever someone does a service for ...
Bought this to use for my Seagate FreeAgent Go 250 GB Portable Drive. This case is perfect. Holds the drive securely in place with an elastic strap. The opposite side has a mesh basket to hold the cord and other small accessories very nicely. I got the Magenta case and love the color! Not too loud and not dreary. The hard sides offer some protection items from clanking around in your bag or backpack.
I bought two of these for my external media drives. I love the simplistic look on the outside, and the strap keeping the drive secure on the inside as well as the pocket to keep the usb cord (or whatever else you might want to store - I also kept a flash drive in one of mine) makes this a great deal. The outside isn't super shell hard, but it's firm enough to provide more security than just a carrying bag. I've had a lot of problems with transporting hard drives in the past, but I feel really confident with these cases. Will definitely be buying more in the future!

OneTri.com recommends the Orca Men's Core Race Suit 2010 as a great training and racing piece.
The case just big enough to hold the LaCie portable drive. I think it would be better if there was space to also store the cables along with the drive, then everything would stay together.

I own several other Case Logic cases for external hard drives, so I ordered several more of these from Amazon. I was disappointed to find that these are actually about an inch shorter than those I had used before. The external hard drive does fit in these, but I had previously put the external hard drive into the soft cases they came with, then put the soft case into the Case Logic case (for extra protection.) This is no longer possible with these shorter cases.

I purchased this case to use with a 1TB Toshiba portable hard drive. Overall the case is well made and well designed if you want to carry two portable drives. I currently have both the Toshiba drive and a Western Digital Passport in the case. I guess in the long run it saves me from buying another case but it really is too big for most portable drives (my lacie rugged drive does not fit).
